The inability to access timely primary care in BC has reached a crisis point. And the crisis is felt most strongly in rural and remote BC communities of the province. About 900,000 British Columbians are without a family doctor and wait times for appointments continue to grow. This is a complex problem and the solutions are not easy. Ed Staples, President of the BC Rural Health Network, will be discussing this critical issue in an interview with Raji Sohal on CKNW’s Weekend Mornings show this Sunday May 22, at 7:45 am.
