ACCESSING HEALTH SERVICES NOT COVERED BY MSP

A Resource Guide for BC Seniors

Jewish Seniors Alliance of Greater Vancouver (JSA) recognizes that in BC, our Medical Services Plan (MSP) specifically excludes coverage of dental, vision, hearing, and other services such as physio, massage, podiatry and assistive devices. As a result, many do not receive necessary care and are subject to high outof-pocket costs. We know these unmet needs add to hardship and in some cases result in increased health issues for seniors. This resource guide provides information about financial benefits seniors are entitled to and tips on how to access some extended health needs.
